The Heart Behind This Site

On September 17th, 2025, I asked someone I love: "If you could name your own website, what would it be?" Without hesitation, she said "Protect the Pigeons." She envisioned a collaborative space where pigeon lovers could share their art, crafts, poetry, and creative works - a community built on appreciation for these misunderstood birds.

This website exists because she sees beauty where others see nuisance. Because she believes pigeons deserve respect and love. Because in a world that often overlooks the ordinary, she chooses to celebrate it.

Next time you see a pigeon, take a moment. Really look at the iridescent feathers on their neck. Watch how gently they walk. Notice how they care for their babies. They're doing their best, just like all of us.

This is an act of love - to show the world that I love her vision, her compassion, and her ability to see worth in the overlooked.
